Fruitless Olive Trees There are several olive trees that are sold as "fruitless." The only totally perfect non fruiting olive tree is "Swan Hill." Swan Hill olive trees are perfect for hardscape driveways, patios and pool or deck areas where fruit from olive trees could cause serious damage to the surface or an accident. Next on the list for consideration is Majestic Beauty. Majestic Beauty olive trees will produce some fruit, but very little and many times none at all. The two other trees sold as fruitless olive trees are horribly unreliable for being fruitless, they are Wilsoni and Bonita. For whatever reasons these most of the trees in nursery prouction produce so much fruit it is nearly impossible to find a reliable specimen. While Swan Hill olives are great looking trees, my preference is for Majestic Beauty olive trees. The smaller foliage has better more vibrant green/ silver quality, a more dense canopy. The feature below are Majestic Beauty or Swan Hill. Each Swan Hill olive tree comes with a round white, green and black serial number ID card. It is not a Swan Hill or should not be considered a Swan Hill without that tag card.
